Scott Weeden is the sole owner of Weeden Consultants, Inc., formed in 2002.
The company serves a wide range of customers from fortune 500 companies such as Costco, AT&T, Roc A Wear, Durex MFG and Randal MFG, to smaller firms that have less than 2 employees. All receive the benefit of Weeden Consultants expertise, diligent customer care and follow up, fair and competitive pricing, and fierce loyalty and trustworthiness. Scott’s goal is to provide the highest quality of service, and keep clients completely satisfied so that they return to use his services again and again. In 2006 Scott became a certified member of the Florida Minority Supplier Diversity Council as a certified MBE.
Born in Seattle, Washington, raised in Bellevue, a nearby suburb, Scott excelled in almost every sport available to young men growing up in the ‘70s and ‘80s, such as swimming, soccer, baseball, football, and track. But it was basketball that brought Scott to the east coast on a full scholarship to Central Connecticut University in New Britain. In his first year there he won the Bill Dietrick Award which is awarded to one of the finest athletes in all of the school. Two years later Scott accepted a scholarship to St. Peter’s College, and spent the next three years attending classes in Jersey City, New Jersey.
While playing for the St. Peter’s Peacocks, Scott was a member of the 1991 team, which was the first team in SPC history to go to the NCAA tournament. He was named Captain of the 1993 team, and was awarded All MAAC honors and All Met Honors.
Upon graduating from St. Peter’s with a BS in Business Management Scott traveled to Groningen, Holland to play for RZG Donor. Another basketball highlight for Scott was a four city European/African tour to play basketball with the Harlem Globetrotters in Budapest, Morocco, Tunisia, and Belgium.
In 1995 Scott began work as an account representative for Roadway Trucking. While at Roadway Scott was recognized for his excellent sales skills with the UPS Award. Awarded for overall salesmanship. Here he learned the ins and outs of Trucking.
In 2001, Scott, now a father of three began Weeden Consultants, Inc. The name was chosen in honor of his deceased father Art, who fought in Guadalcanal, fought to be admitted into the University of Pittsburg, fought to gain employment with The Boeing Company, and fought all sorts of obstacles to gain his Professional Engineering Degree and form the first Weeden Consultants. Scott wanted to have a company that was innovative, reliable, and flexible. These are the core values of what Weeden Consultants Inc is made upon.
In 2006 Weeden Consultants Inc sponsored the Little League Team Brewers in the Minor division in Apopka FL. Scott’s son Shaun was a member of this team.
In keeping his ties with basketball, Scott represents Basketball players as well who are trying to become NBA players. Rashaan Palmer is currently on the Newark Express of the ABA which is a league that is scouted by the NBA and European Teams. Scott does not actively recruit players to sign with him as this is done on a referral only basis as Scott looks for the same qualities in these men as Scott posses.
As a member of BMW Car Club of America, Scott keeps up with not only the Formula 1 Sauber Racing Team, he also attends the American Lemans Races.
Scott is also a member and proud sponsor of FC-Barcelona which is the largest sports club in the world. The famed soccer player Ronaldinho is the Clubs highest paid athlete.
